- Chat messages: questions you send in the app or on the website are processed by our servers to generate AI responses. We do not sell your conversations.

- Usage data: basic technical data such as IP address and request timestamps may be logged by our hosting providers for security and rate limiting.

Third-party services
We use trusted third-party services to run DharmaVani:
- Vercel: hosts our website and API
- Supabase: user authentication and account storage (mobile app)
- AI providers (e.g. Groq / OpenAI): processes chat messages to generate responses. Message content is sent to these providers only to fulfill your request.
- Resend: delivers feedback emails to our team
These providers process data according to their own privacy policies and only as needed to operate the service.
Data retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Chat messages are processed in real time and are not stored long-term on our servers unless required for security or legal compliance. You may request account deletion by contacting us.
Children
DharmaVani is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data

Security
We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are not stored in plain text by DharmaVani.
